SAMSUNG GALAXY S5 SET TO LAUNCH ON FEBRUARY 23, 2014?
Russian blogger 'leaks' date and time of Samsung's Galaxy S3 launch, it'll be a day before MWC

Russian phone leaker @eldarmurtazin has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be launched on 23 February, a day before the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. So can we believe this guy? Well, he did correctly predict the launch date for the Samsung Galaxy S4, so we’ll take him seriously.

According to our Russian mole, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will feature a 5.25” 2560x1440 display, a new incarnation of the Touchwiz UI, eight-core Exynos processor or Snapdragon 805 Quad-Core processor and all-metal body.

So what else do we ‘know’ of the Samsung Galaxy S5 from our late night online trolls? The Taipei Times had reported that Catcher, a company that makes metal bodies for Apple and HTC, will be manufacturing Galaxy casings for Samsung in the first half of 2014, in magnesium and aluminum. The point noted, Samsung Mobile mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy s5 may be launched in two iterations, a metallic version called the Galaxy F, and a plastic backed Samsung Galaxy S5.

On the Camera front, we could see a 13MP camera module on the Samsung Galaxy S5, which according to Patent Bolt would support anti-shake correction of up to 1.5 degrees, far superior to other smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S5 could also be resistant to dust and water.

Gestures will definitely be bigger part of the action, we assume, right from re-imagined Air View and Smart Scroll to finer styles control. Plus, of course, Operating System of Android 4.4 KitKat.
